Quality Assurance & Monitoring
The Quality Assurance and Monitoring Cell (QAMC) at SITE plays a central role in promoting institutional effectiveness. As an essential component of the Institute’s governance framework, the QAMC ensures that academic programs, teaching, and institutional processes meet established quality standards and continue to improve.
Guided by the standards of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, the QAMC implements structured review systems and monitoring processes that support the Institute’s departments in maintaining strong academic practices and measurable learning outcomes. It also encourages alignment with evolving national and professional benchmarks in teacher education.
The Cell works closely with the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) and oversees program evaluations, internal reviews, and stakeholder feedback processes to ensure that SITE’s offerings remain credible, relevant, and compliant with recognized quality standards.[
QAMC Functions
Program review and accreditation support
Coordinates internal program reviews and coordinates the preparation of[FS2.1] documentation and visits for external accreditation bodies (NACTE etc.).
Monitoring course and teaching quality
Conducts course and faculty evaluations to gather students’ perspectives on teaching effectiveness, course design, learning activities, and assessment methods.
Data Reporting for Continuous Improvement
Tracks key performance indicators, student performance, retention, graduation rates, and employability to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
Stakeholder feedback systems
Gathers feedback from current students, alumni, and their employers to improve programs.
Through these processes, the QAMC promotes continuous improvement, accountability, and alignment with Higher Education Commission (HEC) quality assurance guidelines.
